Job Details

Duties: Responsible for complying with all local, state and federal regulations governing long term care. Makes daily rounds and evaluates nursing care rendered to residents, including resident’s physical, mental, and emotional status, and implements any required nursing intervention. Responsible for in-service training of all staff and maintaining up-to-date educational attendance records as directed by the DON. Supervises and evaluates performance of nursing personnel, including the assignment and delegation of staff responsible for all nursing care. Practices and assures compliance with the facility Safety Program, including back safety and fire safety. Job Requirements: 5 to 10 years of experience in clinical management including facility management. Experience in the LTC setting and experience with the geriatric population. Leadership and clinical management necessary. VA RN License Required AHA CPR Education Requirements: BSN. MSN preferred
