Director of Resident Assessments

Responsible for the development and completion of the resident assessment process in accordance with the requirements of the Federal and state regulations as well as Company policy and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A current, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
- Has completed all the Company’s specific MDS training modules with a passing score.
- Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience in a health care setting. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a long-term care setting. Prior experience as an MDS coordinator with demonstrated expertise.
- Demonstrates clinical assessment skills at the level necessary to meet the job requirements.
- Ability to make independent decisions on a regular basis.
- Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long term care.
- Knowledge of Medicare regulations and coverage guidelines as related to skilled nursing.
