Who's Who in Virginia's Long Term Care Facilities
Ms. Mary Waters
- Back
Ms. Mary Waters, 82 years old, considers herself a down-home Catholic girl who just happened to grow up in Washington, DC.
While calling Capitol Hill home, Ms. Waters couldn’t help but to “dabble” in politics. She worked as a reporter, public relations expert, advertising executive and travel writer. Publications such as the Washington Post, Washington Times and Journal often carried her work.
Her political influence grew as her skills of networking and relationship building were fine-tuned. She worked with the Congressman credited with building the Golden Gate Bridge; then for a Congresswoman who helped pass the Equal Pay (for women) Act. She is Vice President of the Committee for Dulles and the Fairfax Heritage Society, preserving Sully Plantation.
This dynamic woman is not only mother to five children, but also mentor to many young business women in Northern Virginia.
Ms. Mary Waters is a resident at Inova Loudoun Nursing and Rehab Center in Leesburg where she has resided since January 2010.
