Mr. Walter Kay

Mr. Walter Kay, 85 years old, graduated from Virginia Commonwealth
University with two degrees. He also graduated from the FBI Academy. He
served as a policeman from 1950 – 1979, became Deputy Chief of Police in
Richmond, and received many meritorious police duty awards.
He served our country during WWII as a US Navy Seabee and received a letter of accommodation from James Forrestal, Secretary of the Navy. He was commissioned by Wallace Wilkinson, Governor of Kentucky, as a Kentucky Colonel. Mr. Kay also served on the National Committee of Aerospace Organization developing lightweight body armor for law enforcement and military. In addition Mr. Kay has served as Illustrious Potentate of the ACCA Shrine, supporting children at Shrines Hospitals for Disabled and Burned Children.
Mr. Kay is a resident at Beaufont Towers Assisted Living in Richmond where he has resided since May 2006.
