Ms. Rosalie W. LeFontaine

Ms. Rosalie W. LeFontaine, 73 years old, was born and raised in
Halifax County, Virginia. Upon graduating from Halifax County High
School, she pursued a career in nursing at Duke University and graduated
with a BSN degree. She attended the University of California in San
Francisco and graduated with a MSN degree. Ms. LeFontaine then attended
the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky and
received her Master’s Degree in Education. She used her talents as an
educator by serving numerous nursing schools in Hawaii, Paraguay, the
HOPE Project, the Baptist Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana, J.
Sergeant Reynolds Community College in Richmond, Virginia, Southside
Community College in Keysville, Virginia, then back at home in Halifax
County at the Halifax Regional Hospital.
Ms. LeFontaine explains that her faith in God and her desire to help others is what makes her life fruitful and rewarding.
Ms. LeFontaine is a resident at Berry Hill Health & Rehab Center in South Boston where she has resided since March 2009.
