CNA Evening Shift – Night Shift
Full-Time/Part-Time
Dogwood Village, the friendly, heartfelt family community of Orange, Virginia currently has two full-time and one part-time positions available for Certified Nursing Assistants for evening shift, one full-time, one part-time night shift and 1 part-time for weekends only. A shift differential of $3.00 will be paid for evenings and nights as an additional $2.00 weekends for all shifts. Low ratio resident to staff.

POSITION SUMMARY

• Responsible for providing direct resident care as defined by the job description and as directed by supervisor.
• Reports to the Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, Evening House Supervisor, Director of Nursing/Director of Resident Health Services, and Administrator.
• Performs all duties in compliance with established facility policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provide care for and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to residents as needed or as directed, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, feeding, personal hygiene, toileting, positioning, and mobility; taking all necessary measures to ensure the highest level of comfort, dignity, and safety to the resident at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certifications:
• High School graduate or equivalent preferred as well as new graduates.
• Current, valid certification as Nurse Aide issued by the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
