Overview
Activity professionals play a critical role in the psychosocial well-being of nursing facility and assisted living residents. They also play a vital role in compliance with regulatory requirements and documentation for care plans.
As a refresher for experienced activity team members or an introduction for new activity professionals in both settings, VHCA-VCAL is hosting two upcoming webinars specifically focused on documentation related to activities.
These sessions will introduce elements of resident assessment, individualized interdisciplinary activity care plans, and documentation consistent with regulatory requirements for both nursing and assisted living facilities. We will review the importance of accurate attendance records, methods of service delivery, treatment modalities, and restorative programs.
