Baxter CooperMr. Baxter Cooper was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia. He went to T.C Williams High School and later went to Quinnipiac University where he majored in political science. After graduation, Mr. Cooper’s parents “volunteered” him to join the Navy. Both of his parents had careers in the federal government and thought that he would be an excellent candidate for the special forces. At 21, he became a Navy Seal, a member of the US elite special forces. Some of his favorites places that he has visited include Holland and the Ivory Coast, also known as Côte d’Ivoire, in West Africa.

While Mr. Cooper was in basic training, he truly enjoyed the Basic Underwater Demolition School. He just loved seeing stuff blow up underwater!

After serving the Navy for 12 years, Mr. Cooper returned home to Virginia and began working with jewelry, specifically diamonds. He began certifying diamonds and enjoyed the challenge it brought. During his free time, he enjoys listening to pop-rock music; his favorite is Eric Clapton. Another interest of his includes the research of sniper rifles that are utilized around the world by other government military forces.

Mr. Cooper firmly believes that you should always try your hardest and follow your dreams!
