There’s no stopping Mr. Jim Sealey. After receiving a singing birthday bear for his own special day, he decided to share the fun with everyone.
Each month, Mr. Sealey asks for a birthday list and makes his rounds visiting residents in health care and assisted living, and even the staff singing Happy Birthday with his trusty bear by his side. He also hands out birthday cards, making sure no one is forgotten, not even those who can’t leave their rooms.
His kind heart and joyful spirit have made birthdays extra special for everyone. Thank you, Mr. Sealey, for making our community a happier place!
Mr. Sealey brings joy wherever he goes! When it comes to volunteering, he is always ready to jump right in! During our recent talent show to raise money for Alzheimer’s, he had everyone laughing and cheering with his lively performance of “Play That Funky Music, White Boy.” Wearing sunglasses and rocking a hat and a blow-up guitar, he took the stage like a true entertainer! It was one of the funniest and most heartwarming moments we’ve ever seen.
That’s just the kind of person Mr. Sealey is. He is always going above and beyond to bring smiles, laughter, and joy to everyone around him. And would you believe it? He does all this at 98 years young!
