Berkley Bryant Mr. Berkley Olin Bryant served in the US Army in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, National Defense Service Medal-10LC, Korean Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Overseas Service Bars (4), Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with Palm, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal 6th Award, and the NCO Professional Development Ribbon.

In addition to his military service, he has been a magician for years and is a diehard bluegrass music fan. Mr. Bryant has been a radio DJ off and on since his early adulthood. Mr. Berkley created his own bluegrass music radio show and convinced a Kentucky public radio station into giving him airtime. He went on to host a weekly three-hour show which ran for over 20 years. He loved to invite startup bands to perform for his listeners.

Over the years he met and befriended many early country music greats, such as Loretta Lynn, Elvis Presley and Grandpa Jones. He was a close friend of Ralph Stanley, who while already a bluegrass music legend, created an entirely new fan base with his music featured in the movie, Oh, Brother Where Art Thou. Mr. Bryant has had fans all over the world and routinely gets emails from Australia and the UK.
