Mr. Norman JasperMr. Norman Jasper grew up with his parents and siblings in Shipman, Illinois. As a child, he loved playing baseball, basketball, and ran track. He enjoyed and excelled in school. Upon his high school graduation in 1951 he continued his education at Illinois State University. Mr. Jasper received a pre-med degree in anatomy and physiology. He worked as a pharmaceutical representative for some time, but he was truly passionate for serving his country. Mr. Jasper served in the Marines for 20 years, including time served in Vietnam. Mr. Jasper earned the rank of captain and received three Purple Hearts during his service.

He has two daughters, Angela and Julie, who mean the world to him. Now that he is retired, he says he just looks to socialize and relax! Mr. Jasper looks forward to activities at the center such as BINGO and coffee club. We love his positive attitude and smile! We are so grateful to have him as part of the Guggenheimer family!
