Shirley especially loves the events and programs at the facility, where she says there’s always something fun to look forward to. We refer to her as the mayor of District Home. She keeps her peers informed of the daily schedule of events and provides reminders! The residents appreciate her.
Another passion of Shirley’s is caring for animals, particularly birds. She takes joy in making sure they always have food and water, and she finds peace in simply watching them thrive.
Her story is a beautiful blend of community, and compassion, a spirit that continues to shine brightly here at Birmingham Green.
