AHCA/NCAL has opened the 2025 National Quality Award Intent to Apply (ITA) and Quality Award Portal.

• Facilities that plan to apply for a National Quality Award in 2025 to submit an ITA before the deadline on November 14, 2024.
• An ITA submission demonstrates to your communities, workforces, and residents that your organization is committed to continuous quality improvement and quality care.

Benefits of submitting an ITA: Applicants that submit an ITA receive a discounted application fee. Submitting an ITA also affords applicants access to exclusive resources specific to assist with the application process.

Why submit an ITA? Submitting your ITA assists AHCA/NCAL and you! ITAs help AHCA/NCAL determine the approximate number of applicants that intend to apply for a National Quality Award. This allows AHCA/NCAL to continue to improve its process for reviewing the applications and to improve your overall experience.

How long does this take? If you are connected and verified in the Quality Award application Portal, it should not take any more than 10 minutes from start to finish. If you are ahead of everyone else and are verified in the Portal, it should not take any more than 5 minutes.

What is the submission process?

1. Visit ahcancal.org/QualityAward and tap Portal.
2. Login using your designated username and password. Don’t know what that is? No problem! Contact a team member at qualityaward@ahca.org to get you set up.
3. Navigate to your center’s dashboard and select Payment to submit your Intent to Apply. That’s it! You are done?

When is the deadline? You can submit your ITA now through 8PM ET Thursday, November 14, 2024.
