With one week left until the scheduled adjournment of the 2017 General Assembly session, regular committee work is winding down and efforts to finalize the budget continue.  This week the House and Senate appointed budget negotiators for each chamber to negotiate differences between the two chambers.  VHCA-VCAL continues to advocate for the inclusion of Medicaid funds for nursing center care in the final budget.
