For the 2023-2024 term, the VHCA-VCAL Board of Directors will have openings for the following positions: Assisted Living Director, Associate Member Director, and an At-Large Director. You have the opportunity to nominate yourself or another member to serve on the Board. Nominations for these positions are due by July 1, 2022.

In addition, the current officers of the association are all completing their one-year terms. Officers are eligible to be nominated to serve a second one-year term or additional nominations for these positions may be made.

Service on the VHCA-VCAL Board of Directors offers members the chance to guide the decisions of our highly-respected association and shape the future of long term care in Virginia. The Board of Directors meets quarterly to manage the affairs of the association and provide strategic direction for VHCA-VCAL initiatives. The upcoming board term will begin on January 1, 2023.

Any VHCA-VCAL member interested in being considered for these positions should complete the online Board Nomination form. Submissions will be evaluated by the Nominating Committee led by Immediate Past Chairman Novel Martin.
