The deadline for submitting your nominations for the D.A. “Woody” Brown Community Involvement Awards and the Recognition Awards has been extended to June 15, 2016.

Make sure your center is in the running for a Woody Brown Award by submitting your applications in one or more of the four award categories!

The awards recognize excellence in:

• Year Round Public Relations Program
• National Nursing Home Week or National Assisted Living Week Program
• Special Event Program
• Facility Newsletter

We are also accepting nominations for the annual Recognition Awards, our highest honors for professionals and volunteers serving the long term care community in the Commonwealth.

Nominate one of your colleagues or peers or volunteers for one of the following:

• VHCA Nursing Facility Administrator of the Year
• VCAL Assisted Living Administrator of the Year
• Director of Nursing of the Year
• CNA of the Year
• Teen Volunteer of the Year
• Adult Volunteer of the Year
• Group Volunteer of the Year
• James G. Dunton Distinguished Service Award for Lifetime Achievement
