DMAS has published Fair Rental Value (FRV) Reporting Form for Calendar Year (CY) 2021, which will be used to establish FRV rates for State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2023. Nursing facilities must complete and submit the form and supporting documentation by February 25, 2022. The information is used to reimburse a facility’s building, land, and equipment costs. Facilities should use the CY 2021 FRV Reporting form found on the Nursing Facility Website under “Cost Reporting and Case Mix.”

It is very important to complete this FRV report and load it, along with supporting documentation, into eDocManagement by February 25, 2022 for Myers and Stauffer to retrieve. Please place the reporting form in the eDocManagement folder labeled: Cost Report Filing PBP/Doc Type- FRV Reporting Form.

In accordance with 12VAC30-90-37(A)(2), if the FRV Report for CY 2021 is not received by April 1, 2022, the capital rate for your facility will be set to zero effective July 1, 2022. The rate will remain zero until 90 days after the date the FRV Report is received.
