VHCA-VCAL has the training covered! This July, we are hosting another session of our popular week-long course Introduction to Activity Management in LTC. It meets all federal and state requirements for activity professionals in Virginia working in either nursing centers or assisted living facilities.

• The course meets the Requirements of Participation for nursing facilities as well as the requirements of 22 VAC 40-73-1120 F 5 of the Standards for Licensed Assisted Living Facilities. In addition, the DSS Division of Licensing Programs has approved this course as a training program in adult group activities and in recognizing and assessing the needs of residents.
