Cil Bullard, RN,CPC, RAC-CT, State RAI/OASIS Coordinator at the Virginia Department of Health, shared the following information from CMS related to a new MedLearn Matters tool for Medicare-Required SNF Prospective Payment System (PPS) Assessment.  This overview of the PPS program can be used as a reference and training tool.

Of particular note, the overview includes a downloadable Schedule Assessment Calendar that you can use to set the Assessment Reference Date (ARD) and grace days.
