Effective February 1, 2019, Virginia Premier will operate utilizing one Virginia Premier Payer ID: VAPRM or the Exchange Program ID: 251VA. This change is intended to make the electronic claims submission process for CCC Plus and other programs easier.

This universal payer ID will be used for submission of electronic claims for the following

lines of business under Virginia Premier:

• Medallion 3.0
• Medallion 4.0
• CCC Plus
• Dual Special Needs Plan (DSNP)
• Medicare Advantage

Exchange Program electronic claim submission should be submitted utilizing Payer ID 251VA.

Please begin making the necessary adjustments to your claims filing process. All electronic file submissions on or after February 1, 2019 must be submitted utilizing the Virginia Premier Payer ID: VAPRM or the Exchange Program ID: 251VA. Submitting electronic claim files utilizing any other Payer ID will be rejected.
