The New York Times ran an article on June 24, Medicaid Cuts May Force Retirees Out of Nursing Homes, that profiled residents of Dogwood Village of Orange County who rely on Medicaid for their care.  The article detailed how the Senate’s proposed Medicaid cuts would adversely affect nursing center residents.  VHCA-VCAL worked with Kaiser Health News reporter Jordan Rao to prepare the story.
