November 14: Jump Starting Phase 1 of the Requirements of Participation

start-line_roadRegister today for the November 14 education program to help you start implementing the changes your center may need for Phase 1 of the new CMS rules for nursing facilities.  As our presenters review the major changes in the regulations, they will discuss how you can address the risks and pitfalls facing your center and how to prioritize which actions you need to take first.

The program will also include a discussion of the rule’s emphasis on person centered care, staff training and competency, as well as quality improvement.  (More details about the specific provisions of the rule that will be covered are included in the agenda.)

Join us on November 14 to:

  • Identify the impact of Requirements of Participation (ROP) changes on your current operational policies, protocols, and practices.
  • Understand more about how those impacts may necessitate culture change within your organization.
  • Explore the risks and pitfalls of the new regulations along with operational strategies for readiness and implementation of the changes.
  • Engage with colleagues in discussion of practical approaches for timely and successful implementation.

This program offers 6 hours of NAB approved continuing education for long term care administrators.
