Leaders from Saber Healthcare Group, LLC and Dockside Health & Rehabilitation Center welcomed Congressman Rob Wittman (R-VA-01) for a facility tour on August 1. They discussed workforce and rural health care issues. Saber personnel emphasized the staffing challenges facing providers and the steps it has taken to invest in its employees. They also discussed the difficulties that staffing ratios would create.

Wittman, who has served the First Congressional District since 2007, was generous with his time speaking to both residents and staff. He is a long-time supporter of nursing facilities and assisted living communities.
