CMS unveiled functionality on Care Compare so users can see staff and resident vaccination rates across different skilled nursing facilities (SNFs). This information was added to increase transparency and enable the public to easily access vaccine information.

Care Compare will also display state and national vaccination rates. The data will be updated every two weeks and comes from data reported by SNFs through the CDC’s National Healthcare Safety Network system.
