Advocacy is a year-round job.

• There’s much more to advocacy than lobbying during the General Assembly session.
• The meetings and outreach we conduct with legislators, agency officials, and other stakeholders beyond session have lasting impact on our ability to be effective advocates for our members.

• 1/31-2/1—175 individuals attended the Legislative Conference in Richmond.
• 2/1—Monitored the Senate Finance Committee meeting and the health subcommittee of the House Health and Human Services Committee.
• 2/1—Participated in a meeting of AHCA’s PDPM Workgroup.
