Advocacy is a year-round job.

• There’s much more to advocacy than lobbying during the General Assembly session.
• The meetings and outreach we conduct with legislators, agency officials, and other stakeholders beyond session have lasting impact on our ability to be effective advocates for our members.

• 7/31-8/2—Keith Hare attended the American Society of Health Care Administration Executives (ASHCAE) for AHCA/NCAL state affiliate staff leaders.
• 7/31-8/1—Hosted the first two sessions of the Navigating Through The Weeds webinar series.
• 7/31—Attended the Collaborative Care in the Commonwealth: A Virginia EDCC Program Showcase hosted by HQIN.
