Advocacy is a year-round job.

• There’s much more to advocacy than lobbying during the General Assembly session.
• The meetings and outreach we conduct with legislators, agency officials, and other stakeholders beyond session have lasting impact on our ability to be effective advocates for our members.

• 9/10—Hosted members from Saber Healthcare Group to review the components of the Medicaid Value-Based Purchasing program.
• 9/10—Attended a meeting of the General Assembly’s Joint Subcommittee for Health and Human Resources Oversight.
• 9/11—Participated in a meeting of the AHCA Survey/Regulatory Committee.
