Advocacy is a year-round job.

• There’s much more to advocacy than lobbying during the General Assembly session.
• The meetings and outreach we conduct with legislators, agency officials, and other stakeholders beyond session have lasting impact on our ability to be effective advocates for our members.

• 10/27—Kicked off the three-part Silver Quality Award Workshops.
• 10/28—Hosted the Bronze Quality Award workshop.
• 10/28—Met with VDH to discuss various issues including contract survey activities.
• 10/29-30—71 attendees participated in the opening two sessions of the Survey Readiness during Changing Times Webinar Series.
