The Hospital and Healthcare Compensation Service (HCS) has extended the deadlines for its 2019 nursing home and continuing care retirement community (CCRC) salary and benefits studies. The comprehensive study covers executive, nursing, therapy, dietary, activities, social services, maintenance, and administrative jobs. The results compare marketplace data by unit size, revenue size, profit type, CBSA, state, and region. There is no cost to participate; participants are eligible to purchase the published report at a 50 percent discounted rate.

The CCRC study deadline has been extended to May 3. The nursing home study deadline has been extended until May 20. The national study is supported by AHCA.

Questionnaires are available on the HCS website: https://www.hhcsinc.com/survey-questionnaires.html. Facilities with multiple locations in varying counties or states should use the Multi-Site questionnaire; facilities with one location should download the Single-Site survey.  

The CCRC Salary & Benefits Report will be published in late June; the Nursing Home Report will be published in late July.
