In an effort to further simplify access to the state’s allocation of CARES Act funding to nursing facilities and assisted living facilities, DMAS has announced that:

Expenses no longer need to be broken out by month for submission. You may group your expenses in any month on the existing invoice spreadsheets (one for NFs and one for ALFs) found here: www.dmas.virginia.gov/#/covid under “Support for Providers.”

If you have already submitted or filled out a spreadsheet that groups expenses by month, do not attempt to make changes. DMAS will accept your spreadsheets filled out using earlier instructions. Our goal is to give providers additional flexibility, not require any extra work.
