AHCA/NCAL is urging you to reach out to Senators Mark Warner and Tim Kaine to ensure Medicaid funding is preserved for America’s most frail and vulnerable individuals. Advocates are encouraged to contact their Senators and emphasize the importance of Medicaid funding for elderly and disabled Americans.

The Senate is currently working on its own version of the American Health Care Act, a bill that passed the House in early May. The bill is likely to contain provisions altering how much federal money can be spent on the Medicaid program. As you well know, the current Medicaid system already underfunds long term care, and we cannot take any more cuts, let alone one approaching this magnitude.
