Call for nominations: You have the opportunity to nominate yourself or another member to serve on the VHCA-VCAL Board of Directors for the 2025-2026 term.

• Nominations are due by June 28, 2024.

The VHCA-VCAL Board of Directors will have openings for the following positions:

• Assisted Living Director (1 seat; 2 year term)
• Associate Member Director (1 seat; 2 year term)
• At Large Director (1 seat; 2 year term)

In addition, the current officers of the association are all completing their one-year terms. Officers are eligible to be nominated to serve a second one-year term or additional nominations for these positions may be made.

Why it matters: Service on the VHCA-VCAL board offers you a chance to guide the decisions of our association and shape our future.

• The Board of Directors meets quarterly to manage the affairs of the association and provide strategic direction for VHCA-VCAL initiatives.
• The upcoming board term will begin on January 1, 2025.

How to submit a nomination: Any VHCA-VCAL member interested in being considered for these positions should complete the Board Nomination form.

• Submissions will be evaluated by the Nominating Committee led by Immediate Past Chairman Derrick Kendall.

The election of new VHCA-VCAL board members will be held during the VHCA-VCAL Annual Membership Meeting, Wednesday, September 11 at the Hilton Norfolk The Main.
