What’s new: CMS has released a new document titled the Minimum Data Set (MDS) 3.0 Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) User’s Manual (v1.19.1R Hyperlink Update Supplement. Replacement pages for each affected section can be found on the list. 

• Remember, the latest version of the manual will be effective beginning October 1, 2024. 

CMS issued the supplement because external webpage changes caused existing hyperlinks in the RAI Manual to occasionally redirect, become unreachable, or the information on the webpage may change.

• This document serves as a supplementary list of links in the MDS 3.0 RAI User’s Manual version (v) 1.19.1 that require updates as identified throughout the lifetime of the document.
