Collaborating to Enrich Lives.  That’s our focus at every level of the association.  The VHCA-VCAL Board of Directors approved this as the new mission statement for VHCA-VCAL in January.

To me it encapsulates the efforts of the VHCA-VCAL staff in their interactions with our agency and legislative partners, in the compassionate work carried out at our centers as we care for our residents, as well as in our on-going alliances with our education partners as we work to provide you with networking and learning opportunities. It’s about creating opportunities where we can work together with policymakers, families, staff, and communities to improve the quality of long term care in Virginia.  

We did not take on the task of developing a new mission statement for the organization lightly.  We wanted our new mission statement to reflect a forward-looking approach to our work.  We hope you’ll continue to collaborate with us as we advocate for long term care providers.
