How’s Your Quality Award Application Coming?

The deadline to apply for the 2020 AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program is quickly approaching. You must submit your application and payment by 8:00 pm ET on January 23, 2020. An application can be submitted regardless of whether or not you submitted an Intent to Apply payment, so don’t delay and start your application today.  

To get started, find all of the information you need in our application packets and additional resources available on the applicant webpages: BronzeSilver, and Gold.

Then submit your application and payment through the Quality Award Portal! We encourage members to login to the portal before the deadline to avoid any delays in setting up your user account. Note, late submissions will not be accepted.

Why should you apply?

  • The program provides a proven framework that organizations can use to make improvements in clinical, quality, or other operational outcome areas;
  • Quality Award recipients perform better than the national average on key quality metrics;
  • The program criteria prepare providers for regulatory demands such as CMS’ Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement (QAPI) requirements and the Medicare and Medicaid Requirements of Participation (RoP);
  • The award journey increases staff morale and engagement; and
  • It provides national validation of your quality and services – the perfect information to share with your consumers, stakeholders and referral partners.
