Do you have a new activity director? Are you looking for training specifically designed for activity personnel? In January we are offering our week-long Activities and More course, an intensive program that provides 45-hours of comprehensive training in programming and documentation for activity personnel.

This course meets the requirements of 22 VAC 40-73-1120 F 5 of the Standards for Licensed Assisted Living Facilities. In addition, the Division of Licensing Programs of the Virginia Department of Social Services has approved this course as a training program in adult group activities and in recognizing and assessing the needs of residents.

Attendees will leave energized with ideas and resources to help direct their activity programs that are tailored to the individual needs of those in your community. Our great line up of speakers includes customer service experts, D.A. “Woody” Brown Award winners, long term care industry consultants, gerontologists, and Alzheimer’s experts.
