2018 To-Do List: Sign Up for Your NAB Registry Number

2018 To-Do List: Sign Up for Your NAB Registry Number

To keep up with your NAB-approved continuing education (CE) credits in 2018, like those offered by VHCA-VCAL, administrators must sign up for the new National CE Registry by April 1, 2018.  Please take a moment to learn about the program and establish your CE Registry number.

NAB (National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards) is creating a free National CE Registry to enable licensed administrators to track their CE approved by NAB’s National Continuing Education Review Service (NCERS) and non-NCERS approved CE.  You must sign up for the registry before April 1, 2018 in order to receive CE certificates for NCERS sponsored events, like VHCA-VCAL’s education programs.

Once your license is due, you can simply release your registry to your state board/agencies electronically. If you have an assistant who registers you for programs, please be sure they know your CE Registry number.

Beginning April 1, 2018, all NAB approved NCERS providers like VHCA-VCAL, will be required to report credit to the CE registry, therefore a registry number will be required for all administrators to receive their CE credits.
