Social Isolation Risk Reductions
Teepa Snow | Positive Approach to Care

The goal of maintaining social distancing boundaries to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus is challenging for all individuals but is typically even more so for those living with dementia. This webinar will highlight the serious effects that social isolation may have on those living with brain change, including the development of depression and anxiety. The session will also discuss how to reduce these social isolation risks with activity ideas that provide meaningful connections while minimizing the potential for pathogen transmission.

Keeping Up with the New Rules in the Pandemic
Matt Cobb | Williams Mullen
Nathan Mortier | Mellette PC

Assisted living providers have had a difficult 2020 navigating the many new laws and rules affecting assisted living operations during a pandemic. Join Matt Cobb of Williams Mullen and Nathan Mortier of Mellette PC as they discuss recent new laws, rules, Department of Labor and Industry (DOLI) emergency workplace standards, and DSS workplace policy notices affecting assisted living operations. They will help explain hot legal topics and identify best practices for your staff and buildings for the next few months of operations.

Registered attendees will also have access to recordings of the presentations by Van Dyk, Cobb, and Mortier.
