Attention nursing facilities: VDH OLC has asked VHCA-VCAL to remind our members to enroll or reestablish your access to the ePOC system.

Why it matters: The Electronic Plan of Correction (ePOC) system eliminates the need for paper- based communications between providers and survey agencies when reviewing plans of correction.

• It replaces mailed copies of the CMS-2567 forms and plans of correction, which will simplify the process and improve efficiencies for facilities and OLC to review and approve surveys.

How to register: Enrollment in the ePOC system involves registering for an ePOC account with CMS. Follow the instructions on this CMS website for ePOC Individual Access.

• Each facility can set up an ePOC CMSNet account with a login and password.
• Multiple Facility / Corporate Access is also available for users who need to access plans of correction for more than one facility within the same corporation. Follow the instructions as specified in the Steps to Access the ePOC Application.
