Advocacy is a year-round job.

• There’s much more to advocacy than lobbying during the General Assembly session.
• The meetings and outreach we conduct with legislators, agency officials, and other stakeholders beyond session have lasting impact on our ability to be effective advocates for our members.

• 11/3—Hosted the second session of the Silver Quality Award Workshops on understanding the award criteria and how to write a successful application.
• 11/6-7—Hosted the final two sessions of the Survey Readiness During Changing Times Webinar Series.
• 11/6—Attended the monthly NCAL call for state affiliate staff.
