It has come to our attention that some members have noticed errors in the COVID-19 outbreak data posted on the Virginia Long-Term Care Task Force webpage. We know this adds additional complications to your communications with residents and families. We would encourage all members—both nursing facilities and assisted living—to review the facility-specific data.

The data is sorted by outbreak in progress, outbreak pending closure, or outbreak closed. Facilities are listed in the “active” tab if a case has been reported in the past 28 days. It includes staff and resident cases and is updated daily.

If your facility type is inaccurate, email epi_response@vdh.virginia.gov. You should contact your local health department to address all other issues.
