In comments submitted to CMS, VHCA-VCAL urged CMS to consider a multi-year (no less than three years) phase-in of the Medicare parity adjustment. The association also noted it strongly opposes a federally enforced numerical standard for minimum staffing. We encourage members to submit their own comments on the proposed rule by June 8, 2022.
