Advocacy is a year-round job.

• There’s much more to advocacy than lobbying during the General Assembly session.
• The meetings and outreach we conduct with legislators, agency officials, and other stakeholders beyond session have lasting impact on our ability to be effective advocates for our members.

• 11/18—Participated in a meeting of the VDH Vaccine Access Collaborative.
• 11/19—Participated in a meeting of AHCA/NCAL’s Workforce Committee.
• 11/19—136 attended the Payment and Financial Issues Conference.
• 11/20—Attended a meeting of AHCA/NCAL’s state affiliate quality network.
• 11/22—Represented nursing centers as a meeting of the DMAS Dental Advisory Committee.
