Outreach to Legislators Needed

Entering the third week of Virginia’s special legislative session, we are grateful for the support of our advocacy efforts about the ongoing needs of Virginia’s nursing facilities. As the General Assembly’s deliberations on funding issues intensify, please continue to encourage your caregivers/employees and residents and families to sending letters to support Virginia’s long term care community.

You can share these links, which have a preloaded message that can be edited, but we would request that everyone personalize the message if possible.

As of September 1, supporters have sent 4,150 letters to legislators asking them to provide continued support to Virginia’s nursing facilities.

Continued assistance throughout this crisis and beyond will allow nursing homes in Virginia to have the resources they desperately need to continue a high level of care.
