AHCA has shared the news from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) that the percentage of nursing center surveys that were deficiency-free increased from 8.8% in 2009 to 10.2% in 2014. 

Similarly, the percentage of surveys resulting in the determination of substandard quality of care has also declined from 4.4% in 2008 to 3.2% in 2014. The 2015 Nursing Home Data Compendium captures survey outcomes and characteristics for more than 15,000 Medicare- and Medicaid-certified nursing centers, and captures information on the demographic, functional and clinical characteristics of more than 1.4 million residents who reside in these centers.
