VBP Webinar Series to Explain Replacement for $15/day Medicaid Add-On
It’s not too late to register for the NF VBP Program Webinar Series: What You Need to Know Now, which begins on March 30. This series is designed to help you understand the new DMAS Nursing Facility Value-Based Purchasing (VBP) Program. The VBP Program is the incentive program created last year to replace the value of the $15 per day Medicaid add-on once the add-on payments end on June 30.
The VBP Program encourages facilities to meet program thresholds and goals for enhanced quality of care. DMAS finalized the methodology for the VBP Program late last year and the performance period is already underway for the two staffing and four quality metrics.
