VHCA-VCAL has partnered with Pathway Health to reduce preventable rehospitalizations by providing certified nursing facilities free training on the INTERACT Quality Improvement Program in May. Reducing rehospitalizations will take on added importance under the Medicaid Nursing Facility Value-Based Purchasing Program beginning on July 1, 2022 because the program includes Medicaid incentive payments related to hospitalizations and emergency department visits. All nursing facilities have been assigned a meeting date based on their VDH Health Planning Regions. When you register, you will be prompted to select your organization’s name and will automatically be shown the training session that corresponds to your health planning region.

There is no cost to attend. Pathway Health will provide CEUs to registered attendees. Additional details and FAQs about the training are available online.
