VHCA has developed a model program for the 120-hour program in required content areas of leadership and mentoring skills, care of the cognitively impaired client, restorative care and wound care. The program has been approved by the Board of Nursing and can be used when developing the facility’s specific program. The model program is available to VHCA’s members.
