Infection Preventionist Specialized Training (IPCO) – Specialized training for health care professionals who desire to serve as Infection Preventioinists (IPs) as established in the CMS Requirements of Participation for Long Term Care Facilities (required by November 2019). Through this program, individuals will be specially trained to effectively implement and manage an Infection Prevention and Control Program in a nursing center.


Online ICD-10 Training

Patient Driven Payment Model (PDPM) relies on rapid and accurate patient assessment and diagnosis, and on MDS and ICD-10 coding to determine payments for each SNF patient. AHCA has partnered with the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) to offer two different on-line ICD-10 trainings.

AHCA/AHIMA ICD-10 Training for PDPM – Coder is an in-depth course designed for skilled nursing facility billing staff, MDS staff, nursing and therapy staff, and admissions and discharge staff. The cost is $499 for AHCA members and $599 for non-members. 16 CNEs for nurses or 16 AHIMA CEUs for Health Information Management professionals.

AHCA/AHIMA ICD-10 Training for PDPM – Non-Coder is a four-hour course developed for individuals who need to lead a successful PDPM transition and is intended for administrators, DONs, and other management staff. The cost is $199 for AHCA members and $249 for non-members. Four CNEs or 4.5 NAB CEUs.
