The Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) released a Medicaid Memo on July 19, 2016 alerting nursing centers that beginning August 1, 2016, enrollment reports will be available in the online eDocMgmt system (accessed through the provider portal) listing residents enrolled (or pending enrollment) in the Commonwealth Coordinated Care (CCC) program.  Prior to this change, DMAS was manually producing lists for those facilities upon request.  The reports to be posted on eDocMgmt will be available for all nursing centers, regardless of whether or not you had formally requested the information.

It is important to note that these reports will also be utilized to communicate enrollment under Managed Long Term Services and Supports (MLTSS), the forthcoming statewide managed care delivery system.  Under the current schedule, MLTSS will begin in Tidewater in July 2017, with a phased enrollment through December 2017 across all regions of the Commonwealth.  The final step in the MLTSS phase-in will be effective January 2018 when all remaining CCC participants will transition to MLTSS.  Currently, DMAS is reviewing proposals submitted by managed care plans interested in participating in the MLTSS program.  VHCA will keep you updated as the program details unfold.
